Dr. Michael Martin

  • Profession: Chiropractor
  • School: Parker University – Dallas, Texas
  • Graduated: 2003

Dr. Martin is a board-certified chiropractor with an extensive background in human biomechanics, injury prevention, and functional rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology
 from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Martin received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to his chiropractic training, Dr. Martin has attained specialized certification in a number of complementary treatment modalities, including Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston Technique Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Kinesio Taping. He has also received recognition as a Functional Movement Systems Professional (FMS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Dr. Martin has worked with a variety of patients throughout his career, both locally and abroad. Whether treating ‘classic’ chiropractic cases, those involving soft tissue injuries, or looking after elite athletes at the collegiate, Olympic, and professional levels, Dr. Martin’s diverse and integrative approach to healthcare enables him to help his patients achieve their health and wellness goals, and live better, more active lives.

    Dr. Oliver Sanchez

    Dr. Sanchez is a board certified chiropractor with a keen interest in health and wellness. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, later graduating Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic (West Campus).

    Prior to entering Chiropractic college, Dr. Sanchez spent two years working as a personal trainer, where his specialized focus emphasized core stability exercise development, injury rehabilitation, and elite performance training programs. In addition to his clinical dedication, Dr. Sanchez is also an active participant in numerous community sporting events, providing first aid, medical, and chiropractic services to active participants.

    Dr. Sanchez has attained numerous specializations, including Graston Technique (GT), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Functional Range Release (FR), and is a certified Rock Tape provider.     Dr. Zoë Fasoulakis

    Dr. Zoë Fasoulakis is an evidence-based chiropractor who is dedicated to helping you achieve your health and wellness goals. Originally from the Main Street area, Dr. Zoë is excited to provide care to the community she grew up in.

    Growing up playing on various sports teams, Dr. Zoë has always had a strong interest in the human body and health care. This led her to McGill University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. During her time at McGill, she also played and captained the McGill Women’s Varsity Soccer team. Dr. Zoë then went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic (Magna Cum Laude) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. She is also certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy.

    Dr. Zoë utilizes chiropractic adjustments/mobilizations, soft tissue therapies and exercise to treat her patients. She strongly believes in patient education and having her patients to play an active role in achieving their health goals. Treating those from “all walks of life”, her main goal is to get you functioning at your full potential. Dr. Zoë also has a special interest in treating soccer players and assisting with recovery from concussions.

    Outside the clinic you can find Dr. Zoë on the soccer field or hiking around Vancouver. She also enjoys travelling, trying out new recipes, and hopes to one day own a golden retriever.

    Dr. Ashley Bilodeau is a fully licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a keen interest in the functions of the body. Being drawn to the sciences, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the Fraser Valley and continued on to CCNM-Boucher where she completed a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine.

    Growing up in the Fraser Valley, Dr. Bilodeau participated in sports and enjoyed spending time outdoors. At Boucher this naturally led her to participate in the Sports Medicine Club, where she learned the Kinesio Taping method and became president in her last year of study.

    In her practice Dr. Bilodeau believes in building a solid foundation. You will work in partnership to find clarity and establish an action plan in working towards your goals. Dr. Bilodeau values going back to the basics and aims to create a safe place for people to build lifestyle, nutritional and movement habits that will then give you the confidence you need to adapt to challenges in the real world.

    Tania Sanchez

    Tania Sanchez is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and has been practising in the Lower Mainland since 2005. After graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, Tania developed a focus on treating the body through addressing issues pertaining to fascial restriction, structural alignment and posture, and limitations in functional range of motion. Tania facilitates the healing process with her patients by incorporating treatment modalities such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. She also has extensive knowledge and experience in prenatal and postnatal care, child massage, and conditions related to Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunction.

    As a former competitive and professional dancer and mother of three, Tania understands and appreciates all of the benefits massage therapy has to offer. Whether treating to reduce stress, relieve pain and discomfort, or rehabilitate from injury, Tania is committed to restoring balance and improving the health and wellness of her patients.

    Caroline Loke

    • Profession: Registered Massage Therapist

    Whether it’s alleviating pain or working on maintenance, Caroline provides a safe space for you to heal and regenerate. Her treatments merge therapeutic and Swedish techniques, and integrate self-care and exercises to help her patients work towards their health goals.

    As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Caroline has additional training in pre and postpartum massage, Graston Technique, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She enjoys working with a variety of patients from children, those with special needs, to the elderly.

    Outside of the clinic, Caroline trains in Muay Thai Kickboxing, yoga, and is the Chair of the Vancouver Street Dance Association. She is also an Assistant Instructor and Clinical Advisor at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.

    Prior to her career as an RMT, Caroline worked for over ten years in different sectors of the corporate world. She is a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and also holds a Bachelor of Communication with a double Major in Advertising and Marketing, with a Minor in Film and Television.

    Joshua Yeung

    • Profession: Registered Massage Therapist

    Joshua is a graduate of Langara College and has a keen interest in health and wellness as a result of his background in weight training and physical fitness. Joshua has a passion for the anatomy and physiology of the human body, which led him to pursue a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. During his education and training, Joshua has worked with a broad cross-section of patients, spanning a wide variety of ages and athletic levels, including long-distance runners, rock climbers and dancers. Massage therapy allows Joshua to treat and educate his patients about their wellbeing and create stronger habits in order to maintain health outside of the treatment room.

    Joshua has clinical experience treating a number of conditions, such as sports injuries, low back pain, shoulder dysfunction and postural syndrome. By utilizing a variety of techniques and formulating effective treatment plans, Joshua can facilitate a patients active lifestyle in a pain-free way, as well as preventing further injury. Some of the techniques Joshua implements include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, joint mobilizations and active stretching to relieve pain and restore function. In addition to manual therapy, Joshua utilizes strengthening and stretching exercises to encourage patients to take a more active role in their treatment.

    Rozanne Bascug

    Coming from a family of doctors and nurses, Rozanne knew at a very young age that she needed to help people. She wanted a career where she could build relationships and be present in their journey towards healing. She graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and has experience treating a diverse group of individuals with chronic overuse injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, as well as stress management and general maintenance care. Rozanne understands that every person is different and aims to focus on each patients’ needs with a customized, caring approach. Her treatment style varies with every individual but may incorporate techniques such as General Swedish, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Release, Passive Stretching, Joint Mobilizations and Muscle Energy Techniques.

    Prior to pursuing a career in massage therapy, Rozanne received her diploma in Acting for Film and Television where she learned about the importance of making connections and being in tune with one’s body. She is also passionate about music and has many years of experience performing and studio recording. Rozanne believes it is important for people to find an outlet where they have a space to let go, relax and take care of themselves spiritually, emotionally and physically from all the stressors life can throw their way. She has a passion for creating supportive and inclusive massage therapy, catering to the diverse communities Vancouver has to offer, and will work together with you towards improving your overall quality of life.

    Victoria Rasman

    As a graduate of The Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, Victoria’s experience working in the clinic at VCMT has allowed her to treat patients with a wide range of conditions including acute and chronic sports injuries, disc herniations, scoliosis, fibromyalgia and neurological disorders. Victoria strives to help her patients live pain-free healthy lives by constructing a treatment plan specific to their goals and presentation.

    Before starting her career in massage therapy, Victoria worked as a Holistic Nutritionist and has several years of experience in the natural health industry. Working alongside naturopaths, herbalists, and TCM doctors has encouraged Victoria’s beliefs on the importance of incorporating multiple integrative therapies to heal.

    Outside of the workplace, Victoria’s hobbies include surfing, snowboarding, running and travelling. She was a competitive cheerleading athlete for over 10 years, and competed at the World Championships in Florida five years in a row. Through conquering her own injuries associated with sports, Victoria understands the process of healing and how beneficial massage can be.

    As a bodyworker Victoria’s approach to massage therapy is therapeutic, while focusing on overall stress relief. She believes that massage plays a tremendous role in long-term pain relief and recovery, in combination with patient education and homecare.

    Jenna Pickell

    As a Registered Massage Therapist, Jenna is dedicated to helping you reach your rehab and wellness goals. She is committed to empowering you with the tools to lead a healthier lifestyle. With a previous career in the spa industry as an esthetician, Jenna brings a unique element to massage therapy. She creates a safe space for you to wind down, relax and heal. Jenna focuses on patient comfort while seamlessly weaving in therapeutic techniques. Her treatments are customized to your specific needs using deep tissue, neuromuscular, active release, and joint mobilizations. She believes that collaboration and patient education will give you the confidence and motivation to be successful.

    Jenna was raised on Vancouver Island, where she attended Vancouver Island University to receive certification as an Esthetician. She discovered her passion for massage as a therapy. She relocated to Vancouver and completed her qualifications at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.

    Her interest in cultures and adventure has taken her to thirteen countries so far and she hopes to add to the list. At anytime you may find Jenna in the mountains hiking with friends, cycling, sailing or at the beach.

    Haydn Yee

    • Profession: Registered Massage Therapist

    Haydn Yee is a graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. As a Registered Massage Therapist, Haydn is highly skilled in techniques such as trigger point release, myofascial release, and comprehensive body maintenance. While proficient in a wide range of massage techniques and intensities, Haydn specializes in deep-pressure treatments, particularly for patients experiencing gluteal, forearm, and neck pain. Haydn approaches each patient as a unique individual, developing personalized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs. His empathetic nature allows him to not only understand the physical requirements of his patients but also create a calming and supportive atmosphere for each session.

    Wesley Lor

    • Profession: Registered Massage Therapist
    Wesley graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2024, and has always held a vested interest in improving functional health and quality of living. His drive to guide individuals towards their health goals stem from his own experiences in dealing with sport-related injuries and the struggles that follow.
    Wesley strives to consistently provide education and attention to aid others in recovery, and help them better understand their own bodies. As an RMT, he maintains patient autonomy and cultivates a patient-centered environment; whatever the issue, the intention is to work alongside the patient to provide the most optimal care they can receive to facilitate their healing.
    Wesley implements his own real-world experiences with sport and movement to help guide patients to moving their best.  In the treatment room, he takes a therapeutic approach by using Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, IASTM, and various neuromuscular techniques to aid in relief and mind-body connection.  He has worked with a range of patients, from athletes to desk workers and elderly patients, always aiming to instill confidence in movement and living through massage.
    Outside of work, Wesley enjoys running, strength training, DJing, and dancing.  He has been a street dancer for 14 years, and regularly attends community events. He also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology, with a certificate in Occupational Ergonomics from Simon Fraser University.

      Alejandra Miranda-Caballero

      Alejandra is a Fascial Stretch Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, and Craniosacral Therapy student. Her journey into becoming a therapist began as a way to better deal with her own injuries sustained as a dancer. Initially, her Fascial Stretch practice enabled her to help herself heal, however now she strives to continue this journey while helping others find a deeper, well balanced body connection.

      Alejandra’s movement background was founded and developed as a contemporary dance artist. Her inspiration comes from constantly learning about the body’s ability to heal. The more she learns about the body the more she realizes there is always more to learn. Alejandra is committed to a lifelong journey of learning and understanding.

      Dr. Winnie Ng

      • Profession: Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
      • School:  Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine – Vancouver
      • Graduated: 2017

      Winnie is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is licensed by the CTCMA in BC to practice Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and other TCM modalities like cupping, and moxibustion.

      Through her gentle needling technique and individualized treatment plans, Winnie strives to empower her patient’s to find healing on many different levels of their life- physical, mental, and emotional. She is known for her intuitive approach and grounding presence, and has had success treating a wide range of ailments, including insomnia, eczema, digestive disorders, women’s health and fertility, headaches, anxiety, chronic fatigue and more. She also integrates her training in the Dr. Tan Balance Method to effectively help patients treat chronic and acute pain.

      Born and raised in Vancouver, Winnie graduated from the 5 year Doctorate program at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and completed a month long internship at the Tzu Chi hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. There, she had the opportunity to work alongside senior medical Doctors, treating a high volume of patients in various departments such as gynecology, post-stroke care, and out-patient care, to name a few. Winnie also has a Bachelor or Arts degree in Psychology from UBC and has training as a yoga instructor. Winnie strongly believes in working together with her patients to find the root cause of their issue, rather than just focusing on the symptoms.

      Growing up on a farm, with an abundance of space to run around and having a deep connection to nature, is what inspired Dayna to pursue a career in holistic healthcare. Her extroverted personality is naturally reflected in her care and compassion for others.

      • Profession: Acupuncturist

      Carlee is a Registered Acupuncturist with a special interest in nervous system regulation, mental health, and womens reproductive health. She believes that true wellness comes from restoring balance and connection within the body and mind, and shes passionate about helping patients feel supported and empowered through every stage of life.

      Carlee’s studies and clinical work have taken her beyond Canada — she spent time in Nepal providing acupuncture in a high-volume community clinic, an experience that deepened her appreciation for accessibility and the power of integrative care. Her calm and compassionate nature allows her to create a safe, grounding space for every patient she works with.

        Allison Bells

         

        • Profession: Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)

        Allison is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences from Thompson Rivers University and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. In addition to her counselling credentials, Allison is also a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), having completed a 3,000-hour diploma at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. 

        With over 25 years of experience as an RMT, RCC, personal trainer, hockey trainer, and yoga instructor, Allison brings a unique and holistic perspective to therapy. Her clinical approach emphasizes the mind-body connection and is grounded in the biopsychosocial model, which considers the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors in human health and behaviour.

        In todays demanding world, people face diverse challenges. While high-pressure environments can inspire achievement, they can also lead to stress that overwhelms our mental and emotional well-being. Allison aims to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, develop resilience, and discover practical strategies for healing and growth.

        She specializes in working with individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, and the lasting impacts of physical and sexual abuse.         Outside of her professional work, Allison leads an active lifestyle and enjoys playing tennis, racquetball, pickleball, and curling. She also loves outdoor pursuits such as canoeing, rowing, paddle boarding, and mountain biking. A passion for travel has taken her through the United Kingdom, North, Central, and South America, parts of China, and several countries across Europe. She a devoted animal lover and shares her home with two amazing rescue dogs and two wonderful rescue cats.

          Heather Ferguson

          • Profession: Clinical Counselling

          Heather is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) who believes therapy doesnt have to feel clinical, intimidating, or like youre under a microscope. Her style is down-to-earth and collaborative, and shed much rather get to know you as a person than spend an hour scribbling on a clipboard.

          Heather holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Victoria and a Master of Counselling from City University of Seattle. Alongside her academic training, she has a strong background in narrative therapy, which is an approach that views people as more than their problems and helps them re-author the stories shaping their lives. Her research and clinical work have focused on identity, resilience, and life transitions, particularly within the world of sport.

           She has specialized knowledge in supporting athletes through major changes, whether thats recovering from injury, adjusting to retirement, or navigating identity shifts that affect their ability to participate in sport or physical activity. More broadly, she works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or big life transitions, always with an emphasis on authenticity.

          No matter the concern, Heathers focus is on creating a safe, supportive, always human space where people can explore their experiences at their own pace, reconnect with their values, and move toward meaningful change. She offers virtual counselling to clients across Canada.

          Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find Heather on a trail either biking, hiking, or running in the mountains surrounding her home in Nelson, BC.

With a strong foundation in ergonomics and a deep understanding of how the body moves, Ryan is committed to helping people feel better, work smarter, and live more comfortably.

            Growing up in Vancouver playing and competing in team sports, Ryan developed an early appreciation for health, movement, and physical wellness. This interest naturally evolved into a career focused on injury prevention and recovery, with a particular focus on optimizing everyday movement patterns through ergonomic design. Ryan focuses his work with office professionals and everything between, Ryan takes pride in creating practical, customized ergonomic solutions that support long-term health and function.

            Outside of work, Ryan is a proud parent to a lively 2-year-old boy and enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and drawing on personal and professional experience to support a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
